The Pattern!!

Thanks to leichenhaft and lunarpoesia on depop, whose photos I used for the tie, since my dress was missing it (lunarpoesia took photos of it separately specifically for me and I am eternally grateful)

Note: I bought a textbook on pattern grading and have tried my best, however, full disclosure: the original I took the pattern from is an XS, and you aren't supposed to make your size range by grading all the way up from the smallest one. All the pieces fit together, and I've had someone try on an XL and they said the sleeves were good, so it's definitely not completely borked, but you should always make a mockup anyway.

Materials:

black stretch cotton fabric (at 48" width: XL+XXL need 2 yards, M+L need 1-5/8, and XS+S need 1-5/8)
Plain red cotton (1/3 yard at 45" width) I had such a hard fucking time finding a red fabric that was light weight and opaque and a good shade, so here's the one I used.
Very light interfacing for the collar and button placket (don't use white, or it'll show when you cut the buttonholes)
Black and red all purpose thread
Heavier red thread for topstitching
Appropriate needles
Buttonhole elastic, less than a foot
2 7/16" (11mm) (or any size that fits through your elastic, really) clear or black buttons
8 3/4" black buttons
2 4-1/2" zippers
Zipper foot
Fire for finishing the ends of the zippers and elastic

Note: I don't know why the waist ease goes down so much as the sizes go up, but I feel like 3" is a little much for something in a fitted shape made of stretch fabric anyway? How far the waist goes in at the sides is also an easy thing to change if you want to. For example, if you are, or would like to look, shaped more like Joey than this model.

Print at home pattern:

Will work on both letter and A4. Just make sure you're printing at 100% scale, and check the scale square on the first page. Big one's an inch, small one's a centimeter.

Large format: A0 and continuous

Take it to a local print shop, or one of the websites you can order from (here's a list of some) and avoid taping together 33 pieces of paper! (life is way too short for that sometimes)

SVG files should you want to modify anything/make it single size/etc.:

Layers upon layers upon layers, most things are named descriptively, shouldn't be too hard to find your way around. The outlines of some of the pieces pre seam allowance got kinda scattered, but they are there... somewhere.
